A devastating series of ballistic missile strikes targeted Kyiv and its surrounding region, claiming at least 17 lives and injuring dozens. Authorities reported an ammonia leak in one Kyiv district following the strikes.

Additionally, Valerii Zaluzhnyi, Ukraine's Ambassador to the United Kingdom, made a notable statement asserting that Ukraine will ultimately not join NATO, despite it being a constitutional goal.
