Albania is grappling with a fresh surge of wildfires, with official reports detailing 33 new ignitions in the past 24 hours and 8 remaining active. The Minister of Internal Affairs, Besfort Lamallari, has convened with local police directors to address the escalating situation, as a major night fire in Vlorë's Qishbardhë area, fueled by strong winds, adds to the national emergency.
