Bulgaria's government has implemented a new registration system for properties used in short-term rentals, marking a significant step in regulating this sector. This new policy comes alongside a joint initiative by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Interior to combat school aggression, a direct response to the recent murder in Plovdiv.
In the political arena, candidate Lyubomir Gurov's candidacy is expected to be announced soon, with the European Commission set to decide on support from GERB. Political figure Atanas Atanasov has publicly backed Gurov, positioning him as the democratic choice against 'red power.' Meanwhile, a resolution on the minimum wage is anticipated tomorrow, and a new heatwave is expected to bring high temperatures across most of the country.

Concerns have also been raised by former Interior Minister Tsvetlin Yovchev about growing risks facing Bulgaria, and a Russian government plane was reported to have flown over Bulgarian airspace.
