Greece has announced a significant step in its aerospace sector with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding for the production of satellites for the international market, aiming to bolster the nation's technological capabilities and global standing. This initiative is expected to establish Greece as a key player in the space industry.
Domestically, a new legal development has emerged as the Attica Municipalities Union has filed a lawsuit against TEXAN, the company responsible for controversial recycling centers, citing issues with the recycling infrastructure. Concurrently, Pavlos Marinakis, the Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister and Government Spokesperson, has opened a discussion on tax policy, proposing the gradual removal of tax limits for self-employed professionals who consistently meet their obligations.
Meanwhile, diplomatic tensions with Turkey continue to be a focal point. Athens has strongly refuted Ankara's renewed claims regarding "grey zones" and renewable energy sources in the Aegean Sea, dismissing them as unfounded and revisionist.
