Thousands of students across the country are receiving their Leaving Certificate results today, with reports indicating that a third of grades were adjusted upwards post-marking. This comes as the state continues efforts to unwind grade inflation measures, resulting in a decrease in the percentage of top H1 grades awarded this year.
In a significant development concerning the fatal M9 motorway crash, it has been revealed that one of the teenagers who died was under the care of Tusla, the child and family agency. This revelation has prompted a national review by Tusla into child safety measures.
