A scheduled meeting between Prime Minister Albin Kurti and KFOR Commander Major General Özkan Ulutas was unexpectedly canceled today due to unforeseen circumstances, a development that has drawn attention given the ongoing political challenges. This comes as Ramush Haradinaj, leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, proposed Behgjet Pacolli, President of the New Kosovo Alliance and Member of the Assembly, for the country's next president, adding a new dimension to the protracted political deadlock over the head of state position.
Meanwhile, the nation is grappling with a series of serious public safety incidents. Kosovo's Children's Rights Protection Coalition has reacted strongly to footage of violence against a 12-year-old girl in Mitrovica, demanding urgent measures.
