Bosnia and Herzegovina is grappling with new fire outbreaks, most notably on Trebević mountain near Sarajevo, which has led to evacuations of a worker and public appeals to avoid the area. In a significant political development, Denis Bećirović, the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, has filed a request with the Constitutional Court to assess the constitutionality of amendments to the Republika Srpska Criminal Code, which prohibit symbols of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ARBiH). This move highlights ongoing legal and political tensions within the country. Furthermore, EUFOR conducted an evacuation exercise at the Greek Embassy in Sarajevo, practicing the removal of the ambassador and staff to a safe location.
