Further accidents, including a pedestrian death in Tampere and a car-motorcyclist collision, have been reported today. Police also intervened in multiple youth gatherings in Tampere, including one at Pyynikki beach where fireworks were reportedly shot into crowds.
The nation's school system is facing significant criticism, with an expert labeling a persistent problem as 'the worst' and warning of severe societal consequences if it remains unaddressed. This comes as economists, including those commenting on proposals from Prime Minister Petteri Orpo's National Coalition Party and Minja Koskela's Left Alliance, deem political parties' austerity plans unrealistic.
