An air threat warning was issued for southern and eastern Estonia today, following multiple reports of drone activity. Kaupo Rosin, Director General of the Estonian Foreign Intelligence Service, stated that these incidents should be classified as state-sponsored terrorism rather than hybrid warfare, underscoring heightened security concerns along the border.
Domestically, critical staff shortages are impacting vital services, with assistant caregivers in elderly care homes reportedly working 48-hour shifts. Ambulance staff also express fears of personnel shortfalls due to an upcoming reform. Additionally, a proposal to postpone the attainment of old-age pensions by several months is under consideration.
