The Grand Duchy is currently facing a public health issue with several cases of salmonellosis being reported. The outbreak has been traced back to the consumption of eggs.
This new development comes as the nation's political landscape remains stable under the Frieden-Bettel government, a coalition of the Christian Social People's Party (CSV) and the Democratic Party (DP). Luc Frieden serves as the Prime Minister, while Grand Duke Guillaume is the head of state, having been sworn in on October 3, 2025.
