Kosovo is facing intensified political pressure as the continuation of the constituent Assembly session has been scheduled for September 9th. This move comes as the country remains embroiled in a prolonged institutional crisis, with the election of a new President still unresolved and fears of early elections looming.
Adding to the urgency, the Independent Commission for Media Development (IKD) has issued a stark warning that Kosovo could forfeit 166 million euros if its government institutions are not established by the year's end. This financial risk underscores the severe economic consequences of the ongoing political paralysis.
Meanwhile, new information has come to light regarding the assassination of Adem Jashari and civilians in Prekaz, with prosecutor's files detailing the planning and execution of the historical event. Prosecutor Gashi also revealed the alleged involvement of Milorad Ulemek, known as 'Legija', in the attack on the Jasharaj family home.
