Forces Advance in Donetsk, Prosecutor General Suspended

Ukrainian forces have launched a confirmed offensive operation in the Donetsk region, near Lyman, successfully liberating 75 square kilometers of territory and reclaiming an additional 10 square kilometers. This development marks a significant military advance in the ongoing conflict.
Domestically, a major political shake-up has occurred with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy suspending Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko from his post. This follows recent accusations by Kravchenko against the anti-corruption chief and amidst an ongoing investigation by anti-corruption agencies. The Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU), Semen Kryvonos, has stated that anti-corruption agencies are operating as usual and denied receiving any formal charges.
Meanwhile, Russian forces continue their attacks across the country, with new drone barrages hitting Kyiv, resulting in one fatality and strikes on gas stations. A train in a western Ukrainian region was also attacked, causing a fire.
