Kyiv Strikes Moscow, Liberates Territory Amidst Deadly Attacks

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that Ukrainian forces carried out attacks on the Moscow region, employing new weaponry, including "Pelican" ballistic missiles and "Flamingo" drones, as part of operations codenamed 'Palyanytsia,' 'Bars,' and 'Flamingo'. These actions mark a notable escalation in Ukraine's long-range offensive capabilities.

Meanwhile, the nation continues to endure tragic consequences from Russian aggression, with a mother and her two young children killed in a Russian drone strike in the Kyiv region, and a priest dying in an attack on a monastery in the Kherson region. Adding to the domestic challenges, Ukraine's steel industry is reported to have effectively ceased to exist, with 90% of its plants idle due to ongoing Russian strikes.

Amidst these developments, Ukrainian forces achieved territorial gains, liberating the settlements of Shandroholove and Derilove in the Donetsk region as part of 'Operation Vivaldi,' with the Third Army Corps reporting the reclamation of an additional 40 square kilometers. Denmark has also announced an allocation of $275 million in military aid to Ukraine.
