This development follows her initial house arrest and marks a significant turn in the investigation into corruption allegations surrounding the AKSHI affair.
New details have surfaced, revealing that a company owned by Ergys Agasi, also under investigation, was established just two days before Vlora Hyseni's proposed appointment as SHISH director, linking both to tenders related to AKSHI. European Democrats have called for an unimpeded investigation into the accusations against the former SHISH chief, emphasizing the need for strong institutions.
Meanwhile, anti-government protests persist, with a new demonstration in Tirana seeing 116 individuals demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
