Forest schools and outdoor excursions have become a source of parental anxiety after multiple groups managed to lose track of their charges. An after-school program in S:t Karins left three children behind in the woods, while a separate kindergarten trip resulted in two toddlers wandering off alone until a passerby found them. It appears that supervised nature walks are proving more hazardous than the nature itself.
Prime Minister Petteri Orpo says a deadline is approaching for an agreement on fuel prices. Meanwhile, the Social Democrats are already looking past the current term; their chairman, Antti Lindtman, is currently allowing the press to document his preparation for a job he does not yet have.
Elsewhere, the municipality of Sibbo is moving to ban artificial intelligence in junior high schools following a series of cheating incidents. The move follows concerns that students have used the tools to cheat on their assignments.
