Russian forces launched a series of new attacks across Ukraine today, striking a bridge in Zaporizhzhia and injuring five people, including Red Cross workers. A hospital in Kryvyi Rih was also hit, leaving two injured, one critically. Further attacks targeted ambulance vehicles and an apartment building in Kramatorsk, resulting in one fatality, and two people were injured in the Dnipropetrovsk region where an enterprise caught fire.
Satellite imagery confirmed significant new damage to the Chongar bridge, while a fragment of a Russian 'Shahed' drone pierced the roof of a school cafeteria in Kyiv. Amidst these developments, Ukrainian air defense systems neutralized 114 out of 137 Russian drones. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that new ammunition for F-16 fighter jets has been secured and will arrive in Ukraine, while reports suggest a hidden Russian mobilization due to a surge in military losses.
Ukrenergo announced that power outages are set to begin today across the country. Separately, details emerged about a secret Soviet-era tunnel construction under the Dnipro River in Kyiv, known as 'Stalin's Object No. 1'. Analysis also explored the potential for widespread unemployment among metal industry workers due to ongoing Russian shelling.
