President Justina Shiroka-Pula has called for a comprehensive probe into a double murder in Gjilan. The demand follows a separate police operation in the city that resulted in multiple arrests and the seizure of weapons.
A persistent political crisis is now delaying domestic reforms, leaving over 100 million euros in potential funding at risk. While the government waits on the money, Prime Minister Albin Kurti has asked the OSCE to focus its attention on the rights of Albanians living in the Presheva Valley.
Reports also emerged of a highway incident where three masked individuals arrested a traveler. Separately, the recent selection of Shiroka-Pula as the country's president has begun to draw attention from the Swiss press.
