Milan Radoičić, the former Serb List official wanted for his role in the Banjskë incident, appeared openly at a campaign rally in Kragujevac. The sight of a man on an Interpol notice sharing a platform with the Serbian president has prompted the government in Pristina to ask the international community why such things are being tolerated.
Domestically, the government is moving ahead with plans to regulate the border with Serbia, though local focus remains on a grimmer statistic: new figures show 63 women have been murdered by their husbands since 2010. In Pristina, the municipality faces a more immediate disruption as 50 security guards prepare to protest over unpaid wages.
A Kosovar national arriving in Germany from Pristina was detained at the airport; he managed to avoid a 120-day prison sentence.
