President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced that Ukraine will resume strikes on Russian oil refineries, stating, "we have had enough." This declaration signals a reversal of earlier policies, which had reportedly faced pressure from the United States to halt such attacks.
The announcement follows a new wave of massive Russian attacks across Ukraine, particularly targeting western regions and Kyiv. Explosions were reported in multiple cities, with a drone crashing in central Kyiv, injuring five and damaging buildings. The Darnytsia Thermal Power Plant in Kyiv has also ceased hot water supply due to these attacks, while Russian forces reportedly used 2 missiles and 580 drones, neutralizing 536.
In other developments, Ukrainian forces reported destroying six Russian Su-34 aircraft and striking the Borisoglebsk airfield. Meanwhile, the White House denied reports of limiting Starlink services for Ukrainian forces, a claim President Zelenskyy also commented on.
