Most ruling parties in Montenegro, specifically the Europe Now! Movement (PES) and Nova srpska demokratija (NSD), have not reacted to a statement made by Kos. Meanwhile, Vladimir Joković, leader of the Socialist People's Party (SNP), and Nikola Camaj, Vice President of the Parliament of Montenegro and MP for the Albanian Forum, both government constituents, have not expressed concern regarding the statement.
This political silence occurs amidst commentary from political scientist Aleksandar Musić, who suggests that Montenegro could benefit from a respite from Belgrade's political, media, and geopolitical pressures. Musić's analysis follows recent developments in Serbia, including the perceived fall of Serbian President Vučić, though he notes that changes in Serbian leadership do not alter the mission of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
In other news, a court ruling has been scheduled for November 16 in the case of Igor Laković, who is accused in the death of Svetislav Milošević. Additionally, the country faces a long-standing problem with a deficit of teachers, and drug dealers are reportedly adapting their methods by using digital channels for distribution.
