European Commission expects Montenegrin accession talks to conclude by December
The European Commission released a progress report suggesting Montenegro's membership negotiations could be wrapped up by the end of the year. In Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Federation launched a new alert system to accelerate the search for missing children and improve emergency response times. Bulgaria was successfully removed from the international grey list for money laundering, while Slovakia maintained its A-grade credit rating and stable outlook. In Latvia, young scientist Kristaps PaΔΌskis earned international recognition for his research into innovative cancer treatments at the European Organization for Nuclear Research.
