Russian forces launched extensive missile and drone attacks across the country, targeting energy infrastructure, residential buildings, and crucially, medical facilities, including a hospice. These assaults have resulted in numerous casualties, with a particularly tragic incident in Komyshuvakha where the death toll has reached 29, and 48 individuals remain missing. Kharkiv also saw a medical facility hit, injuring dozens.
Amidst the ongoing conflict, new domestic unrest emerged in Petropavlivska Borshchahivka, where mass clashes prompted calls for resident evacuations. Kyrylo Budanov, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, has condemned the events and vowed to identify those responsible.
In response to the escalating attacks, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy urged the United States to recognize the gravity of the situation, particularly following a strike on a hospital. Meanwhile, expert analysis suggests Russia is accumulating more missiles and altering its war plans, with discussions also surfacing about potential scenarios for a direct meeting between President Zelenskyy and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
