A group identifying as 'Enemies of Russia' has released a 'blacklist' featuring photos of Italian investigators, including the head of the Postal Police, and the mayor of Aviano, among other targets. This development signals a concrete escalation in the ongoing cyber threats faced by the country. Tommaso Foti, Minister for European Affairs, Cohesion Policies and the NRRP, commented on the cyberattacks, suggesting clues point to Moscow and emphasizing the need for European Union unity in supporting Ukraine without compromising national security.
On the domestic policy front, a proposed change in the new Italian Highway Code could significantly reduce speeding fines, raising concerns about safety and municipal revenue. The 'Terzo Valico' infrastructure project faces substantial delays due to halted construction sites and frozen funding. Additionally, the Italian Medicines Agency (AIFA) is at a crossroads over oncological drugs, a decision that could have a 10 billion euro impact on the national healthcare system.
In other news, members of CasaPound clashed with police during an antifascist protest in Gorizia. Roberto Gualtieri, the incumbent Mayor of Rome, has also begun his campaign for re-election, hosting an event attended by numerous political figures and approximately two thousand people.
