The political landscape in Bulgaria is dominated by discussions surrounding the upcoming presidential elections, with various political figures positioning themselves. Iliana Iotova, the current President, has announced her intention to run for re-election, forming an initiative committee. Meanwhile, former Prime Minister Boyko Borissov has emphasized the need for a united right-wing candidacy to challenge her, while Andrey Gyurov is taking a measured approach to a potential presidential bid. Radan Kanev has also weighed in, suggesting Gyurov as a consolidating candidate to offer an alternative to the current administration.
Adding to the political ferment, the GERB party, led by Boyko Borissov, has submitted the national budget to the Constitutional Court, a move with significant political implications. Borissov also stated that the government, led by Prime Minister Rumen Radev and his Progressive Bulgaria coalition, would not fall through a no-confidence vote but rather through public pressure.

These include concerns over mismanagement within the 'Culture' Fund, discussions on measures for mothers returning to work, and projections of a significant drop in housing prices.
