European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen is set to arrive in Podgorica tomorrow for crucial talks with President Jakov Milatović and Prime Minister Milojko Spajić, focusing on the final stages of Montenegro's EU accession negotiations. Her visit will also include the inauguration of a National Coordination Center, marking a significant step in the country's European integration efforts.
In domestic news, the Constitutional Court has affirmed the constitutionality of mandating vaccination for children attending kindergarten, emphasizing the prioritization of a child's rights to health and life over individual interests. This ruling comes as the state continues efforts to build public trust in vaccination. Meanwhile, Andrija Mandić, the President of the Parliament, is reportedly adjusting his position on the Tribunal, moving from an anti-Serb stance to one that respects its decisions.
Further domestic developments include a tender issued for the reconstruction of the Nikšić-Plužine road, aiming to improve infrastructure.
