A drone crashed and exploded in the Anenii Noi district, causing damage to a communication antenna and scattering debris across a 265-meter radius. This followed a sighting of another unmanned vehicle over the Dubăsari district. Aviation authorities responded to the sighting by grounding all flights in the northern and central regions, while the speaker of parliament, Igor Grosu, attributed the incident to Russian war crimes.

The parliamentary opposition has formally begun the process to suspend President Maia Sandu. Heating tariffs in Chișinău and Bălți have just risen by more than 50% following a spike in gas prices. In other legal developments, a former deputy, Viorel Melnic, has been sent to court to face charges of money laundering and illegal party financing.

Voters in Gagauzia appear to have favored Stoianoglo and Dudnic in the preliminary count for the region's governorship. In New York, Prime Minister Vasile Tofan announced that the country will bid for the presidency of the next UN General Assembly.
